These community rules help keep Litteen Social respectful, age-appropriate, and grounded in safer real connection.
Lit Teen Social is a teen social networking app for 13-17 year olds (with verified parental permission where required) and verified adults 18 and over. Our purpose is simple: turning screen time into real time, helping you make genuine friends, discover local experiences, and get out into the world.
These Community Guidelines apply to everything on the platform: posts, Stories, messages, Link Ups, Deals & Steals, comments, and how you treat other people. They exist alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which together form the full agreement between you and us. If these Guidelines conflict with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service prevail.
By using Lit Teen Social, you agree to follow these Guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, account warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent termination, and for serious or illegal conduct, referral to law enforcement.
These are the standards every member of the Lit Teen Social community agrees to uphold.
Only post photos, videos, and content that belong to you or that you have clear permission to share. Do not post images of other people without their consent. Do not use someone else's photos to create a fake account or misrepresent who you are.
Your age determines which protections and features apply to you. Providing a false birthdate to bypass age verification or parental consent is a serious violation and will result in immediate account termination.
Keep your posts, Stories, messages, comments, and profile language appropriate for a teen community. Profanity, sexually suggestive content, and graphic material are not permitted. Content that violates this standard will be removed, and repeat violations will result in account action.
Treat every member of the community with respect, online and in person at Link Ups and events. Lit Teen Social has zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, intimidation, or targeted cruelty toward any other user, whether in public posts, comments, Stories, or direct messages.
If you see something that makes you uncomfortable, a suspicious account, an inappropriate post, a message that feels wrong, or a Link Up that doesn't feel safe, report it immediately using the in-app reporting tools. Your report goes directly to our moderation team. You can also email litteensocial@gmail.com for urgent safety concerns.
Do not share other people's personal information, including phone numbers, addresses, school names, or any information they have not chosen to make public. Do not screenshot or share other users' content outside the app without their permission.
Do not impersonate another person, create fake accounts, or pretend to be someone you are not. Accounts found to be impersonating another person or using false identity information will be terminated immediately.
Do not post, share, or use the platform to facilitate anything illegal. This includes but is not limited to illegal drug use, weapons, stolen property, fraud, and any content that violates applicable law in your country.
Link Ups are in-person meetups you create with your existing connections. They must have at least 3 participants. Always meet in safe, public places. Tell a parent, guardian, or trusted adult where you are going. Trust your instincts: if something feels wrong, leave. Link Ups are your responsibility; Lit Teen Social is not present and is not liable for what happens off the platform.
Deals & Steals connects you with real local and national businesses offering discounts and experiences. Treat participating businesses with respect. Do not attempt to misuse, forge, or share deal codes in ways that were not intended. All deals are subject to the terms of the individual business.
The following behaviours result in immediate account termination and, where legally required or appropriate, referral to law enforcement. There are no warnings for these violations.
Any sexual content involving a minor is strictly prohibited under all circumstances, without exception. This content will be removed immediately. We are legally required to report it to the relevant national authority, such as NCMEC in the USA, IWF in the UK, or the equivalent in other jurisdictions, and will do so without delay.
Any attempt to groom, exploit, manipulate, isolate, or sexually solicit a minor through messages, Link Ups, or any other feature will result in immediate account termination and referral to law enforcement. Adults who attempt to arrange inappropriate contact with minor users will be reported to police.
Lit Teen Social has zero tolerance for bullying, whether online or arranged through the platform in person. Coordinated harassment campaigns, hate speech targeting protected characteristics, or content designed to intimidate or humiliate another user will result in immediate account termination.
Content that promotes, glorifies, or provides instruction for self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating is not permitted. Content shared in the context of seeking help or recovery support is treated differently and handled with care by our moderation team. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact a local crisis service immediately.
Any attempt to bypass or defeat our age verification or parental consent systems, including using a false birthdate, impersonating a parent, or using tools to manipulate location detection, will result in immediate termination of all associated accounts.

You can report any content, account, or message directly within the app at any point. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. If you believe your account was actioned incorrectly, you may appeal by contacting litteensocial@gmail.com.
Protecting the safety of minors is the founding principle of Lit Teen Social. Our child safety standards include:
We are legally required to detect, remove, and report Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) to the relevant national authority in each jurisdiction where we operate. In the United States this means reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). In the United Kingdom this means reporting to the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF). We fulfill these obligations without exception and without delay.

Lit Teen Social & Adventures reserves the right to remove any content and to revoke any membership at its discretion where it determines a violation has occurred or where necessary to protect the safety of the community.
